FIVE EARN SCHOLARSHIPS
A scholarship dedicated to the memory of Andy Moffitt, a local student killed three years ago, will help five people attend university next year. Engineering students Jill Hass, Azar Mouzari, Brian Recoskie, Marc Philip St-Amour and Andrew Stuart will receive $1,000 each to help with their studies at the University of Ottawa. Moffitt, who studied at the U of O, was stabbed and killed after he tried to break up a fight near the university. The yearly scholarship provides money to those who share similar aspirations as the former engineering student.
